Well, that depends on what you mean by a monitor for i386. I have an
O/S for embedded targets that has early support for i386. If you're willing
to do a little work, a monitor with a console prompt et. al. is not all
that hard to do. I've done similar things for i960 targets.

Support for i386 is not yet complete, but you do get the source for free,
and you should be able to convince me to improve the port. The uCR code is
fairly clear and simple.

Are you talking about a 386ex?
